These terms govern use of lausadubrovnik.com and direct accommodation reservations for Lausa Dubrovnik Rooms. By submitting a reservation, you agree to these terms together with the rate, cancellation and payment conditions displayed in the Rentlio booking engine before confirmation.
1. Operator
The website and accommodation are operated by ALFRED I EVALD d.o.o., Garište ul. 4, 20000 Dubrovnik, Croatia, OIB / registration number 29878730927. Contact: info@lausadubrovnik.com, +385 91 504 0121.
2. Reservations
Direct availability searches and reservations are processed through the official Rentlio booking engine. A reservation becomes binding when the booking engine issues a confirmation. You are responsible for checking the dates, room, number and age of guests, price, inclusions, payment conditions and contact details before confirming.
Availability is live and can change until a reservation is confirmed. Website photographs and descriptions are intended to represent the accommodation accurately, but minor differences in layout, furnishings, colour or views may occur.
3. Prices and payment
The total price, applicable taxes, included services, currency, payment schedule and accepted payment method are shown during booking. Any bank, currency-conversion or card-issuer charges imposed by your provider are your responsibility. We will never ask you to send card details through the website contact form, email or WhatsApp.
4. Cancellation, modification and no-show
The cancellation, modification, prepayment and no-show conditions attached to the selected rate are displayed before booking and form part of your agreement. If you need to make a change, contact us promptly. A requested change is effective only after written confirmation and may be subject to availability and a price difference.
5. Arrival and departure
Standard check-in is from 14:00 to 00:00 and standard check-out is from 08:00 to 10:00, unless your confirmation states otherwise. Please provide accurate contact and arrival information so self check-in instructions can be delivered. Early arrival or late departure is subject to prior agreement and availability.
6. Guest responsibilities
- Only the guests included in the reservation may stay in the accommodation, unless otherwise approved.
- Guests must follow reasonable safety, access and house instructions and respect neighbours and the historic building.
- The rooms are non-smoking. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear caused by themselves or members of their party.
- Illegal, dangerous or seriously disruptive conduct may result in refusal or termination of the stay, subject to applicable law.
7. Property access and safety
Lausa is located in a historic Old Town building. Guests should consider their own mobility and access needs before booking and contact us with questions. Take reasonable care of keys or access codes and do not share them with unauthorised persons. Report damage, faults or safety concerns promptly.
8. Service interruptions and events beyond control
We take reasonable care to provide the booked accommodation and services. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as failures of public utilities or networks, transport disruption, extreme weather, government measures or other force-majeure events. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Website content and third-party services
Website content, branding and original materials may not be commercially reproduced without permission. Links to Rentlio, Google Maps, WhatsApp and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy notices.
10. Complaints and contact
Please raise any problem during the stay as soon as possible so we have a fair opportunity to help. Formal complaints may be sent to info@lausadubrovnik.com with the reservation reference and relevant details.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent Croatian court, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or any right a consumer has to bring proceedings in another court under applicable EU law.
12. Severability and changes
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The terms applicable to a reservation are those presented and accepted when that reservation is confirmed; later website updates do not retroactively change a confirmed booking.
